Hurricane Helene Relief Effort
Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage in western North Carolina and the people there need our help. While we have been spared, many others weren’t as fortunate and we have an opportunity to help when they need it most. Fortunately, we are a community that cares, one with a history of helping others — near and far.
When Ida hit Louisiana in 2021, our local Rotary Clubs collected 3 trucks full of much needed supplies and drove them to where they were needed most. When Hurricane Ian slammed southwest Florida in 2022, our local Rotary Clubs collected and delivered three truckloads of supplies directly there. Working with Rotary Clubs in the impacted areas, we were able to get supplies directly to the families in need with no overhead and no intermediaries to slow things down.
Once again, we are reaching out to the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton community to collect items that are most in need right now, we will update the list as things change. We are establishing drop off points throughout the community to make it easier everyone to participate. And we are collecting tax-deductible donations through the link below or by mailing a check to our office address:

About the Foundation
The Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island Charitable Foundation is the funding arm for all of the community projects and charitable efforts of the Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island. It provides a simple, tax-efficient way for everyone – club members and community members – to support ongoing efforts to provide help wherever needed and improve our island home for all.
